There is something missing from most fashion blogs, and that is honesty. Most authors/critics don't really understand the fashion industry, so they write only wonderful reviews or they critique too harshly because they don't know about clothing. I was raised in the garment industry with my mother working as a seamstress for top designers such as Christian Dior and Ralph Lauren. There was always someone sewing in my home, so it only made sense for me to grow up loving clothes and eventually designing and making my own creations. Clothes not only need to look good, they must also feel good, fit good and be made well. Here you will be able to see shows from the most well known designers to the little-known up and comers. This site will be a one stop blog covering Fashion Weeks, Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer, Haute Couture, Resort and Ready to Wear, as well as Trunkshows and Installations. Our Shopping page links you directly to your favorite designer's online shops and we have also added links to discounted designer goods through department stores, online boutiques and outlets. We have just begun showcasing photographers and bits of their portfolios and will soon be including a section on models also. This blog is labeled "Forum" because we would love to hear your opinions and critiques as well, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment boxes.
